The Tiruchenur Sri Subrahmanya Swami Devasthanam is another temple complex dedicated to Lord Murgan and situated in the shores of the Bay of Bengal in Tuticorin. This huge holy temple gets devotees from all over the country and considered as a holy pilgrimage for the Hindus. A sacred well, Naazhi Kinaru that is filled by a freshwater spring, falls under 100 km from the temple complex and gets devotees for ritual cleansing after they bath in ocean water.
