The cuisine of Thoubal is mainly influenced by the Manipuri Cuisine. The dishes are prepared using aromatic spices and are generally spicy. Rice and fish being the staple food of the people of Thoubal, most families have their own kitchen garden where they grow fresh vegetables, and small ponds to catch fish. Thoubal Itinerary

Day 1: Catch a flight early in the morning from Guwahati to Imphal. Then take a bus to Thoubal. You can reach the place by 2:00 pm. Visit the Khongjom and explore the place. You can spend a peaceful evening on Loktak Lake. Head back to the motel and take rest for the day.

Day 2: Start the journey of the day by visiting Ikop. Scout the place and enjoy it. Later, head back to Imphal and catch a flight back to Guwahati. You can reach home by evening safe and sound.
