Jalori Pass

#2 of 3 things to do in Shojha

Timings: Open all day. Remains closed during the peak of winter typically December, January, and February.

Entry Fee: Free

Located between the towns of Kullu and Shimla, Jalori Pass is very famous for the treks and the scenic view it provides from that part of the Himalayan range. Jalori Pass is still undiscovered because of the terrain and the time it takes to trek the entire way through. Hence this beautiful part of the Himalayas is still not commercialized. When one takes the path to trek, it leads them to Serolsar Lake and 'Budhi Naagin' temple. One can always take a break to visit these two places and relax. Devotees can always visit the temple and offer their prayers. It is at a height of 10,800 feet above sea level which makes it a valid reason as to why this place is undiscovered and less explored in terms of being a tourist attraction. The roads of this Pass are narrow and very bumpy. They are also very uneven and filled with potholes on the way. It is preferred not to take a vehicle uphill due to these uneven roads.
