Located near to the Ridge in Shimla, the Christ Church is the second largest church in entire northern India. This architectural beauty built in neo-gothic style is a reminder of British India. The yellow building and its silhouette visible from far across the town makes the church a favourite spot for both architecture lovers, photographers and devotees. The interior of the church is quite simple and plain, except for the five windows made of stained glass that adorn the walls. This massive church looks absolutely magical and stunning during night time when the lights that have been placed at corners to illuminate it.The church is the most serene and peaceful spot amongst the beautiful mountain ranges in Shimla, rich in historical significance and architectural marvel it attracts tourists and locals from all around.
