The quiet hill station located at 44kms from Shimla is a picturesque beauty right out of a fairytale dream. Surrounded by lush green pine and deodar forest with breathtaking views, Chail is known as the hiker’s paradise.  Known for the world’s highest cricket and polo grounds, this place is a perfect getaway from the busy huzzle and buzzle of the city crowds. Being the summer capital of the majestic kings of Patiala, Chail is famous for its architecture. The palace was built as a summer retreat by the Maharaja of Patiala during the British era is now converted into a luxury resort amidst the pine and deodar trees.
