Rajahmundry is known to have one of the biggest ISKCON temples of the country, located along the river Godavari. The views it provides of the River Godavari are terrific. It was founded in the 19th century by a King of Chalukya Dynasty, Raja Narendra, after whom the town was named Rajamahendri or Rajamahendravaram. But later on with time, it got converted to Rajahmundry.
