A well established and famous temple in the Ranthambore Fort, the Trinetra Temple is the oldest Ganesha temple in Rajasthan. Built by the Maharajah Hammeer as a tribute to Lord Ganesha and his family. King Hammeer believed that the Lord was responsible for the success in his war against Alauddin Khilji and the prosperity of his kingdom. The temple contains idols of the Lord Ganesha, his wife, his two sons and his vehicle mouse Mushak.
