Standing amidst the city of Pune, Vishram Bagh Waada hums the folklore of its magnificence with the portrayal of its adorable architecture. The place is an enthralling and enlightening legacy located in Sadashiv Peth in Pune, revealing the heritage of the Peshwas (Prime ministers) a mighty Maratha dynasty. The Wada or villa exhibits the elegant structural valour commanding throughout the golden era and artistic ethos from which Pune originates its popularity. One can get a glimpse of the antiquated pictures and manuscript/ documents exposition on display on the first floor which illustrates, in outline, the complete vibrant roots and chronicle of Pune city and the Peshwas. Remarkable artefacts like the "Gadi" or bed, lamps, desks etc. are also on exhibition. Visitants can also savour the exceptional and fabulous 'Kairi' (raw mango) Bhel and 'Panah', in the cafeteria on the ground floor before progressing beyond to Tulsibaug or nearby Laxmi road for a fabulous shopping binge. The place is also wheelchair friendly.
