Naag Mandir

#5 of 6 things to do in Patnitop

This six hundred years old Naag Temple is worth paying a visit to. The local people believe that this temple is magical, as most of the temples in India are believed to be. It is believed that if you come here to ask for something and tie a ribbon on the sacred place within the temple, then your wish comes true. A special type of cheese or milk preparation like paneer is available outside the temple, locally known as Klari and there are quite a few small shops around it. But, beware of fake pandits trying to sell magical things. Overall, this hundreds of years old temple made of wooden logs is worth your time in your Patnitop. No entry fees is required.
