About 14 km from Panchgani, is the beautiful small village of Wai, famous for its seven Ghats and ancient temples. Located in the banks of Krishna River, Wai has a significant historical and cultural connection with two important figures of our country, Rani Lakshmibai, and Rani Gopikabai, who was born here. The Brahmanshahi Ghat has several temples like Chakrehwar, Kaleshwar, Kaunteshwar, and Chimneshwar. The Menavali Ghat contains the famous Dholya Ganpati Temple which is made up of finished stones and a massive 10ft tall idol of the deity Lord Ganesha. The Pandavgarh Fort is another attraction in Wai, which brings tourist from all over to visit the place.
