Ranganatha Temple, also known as The Sri Ranganthaswami Temple or Talpagiri Ranganathaswami Temple or Ranganayakulu, is located in the city of Nellore and is dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, a form of Lord Vishnu. It is believed to have been constructed in the 12th century and is one of the oldest temple in Nellore and is located on the banks of the Penna river. There is a 70 feet high tower in front of the temple known as the Gaaligopuram. The temple celebrates Brahmotsavam in the month of March-April every year.
