There are many things to do here, activities such as parasailing, paragliding, fishing, rowing, paddling etc. The 'escape festival' is very famous in Naukuchiata which happens once a year. This place is known for the nine lakes that are 1 km in length and 40 m deep. This place is connected to a very ancient legend that goes around the locals. It is said that one glimpse of all nine corners of the lake with both feet on the earth can make the viewer disappear into smoke to achieve bliss.
There are many places to visit here including many temples across the city. The Sat-tal is a very famous tourist location in Naukuchiatal. Located nineteen kilometres away from Naukuchiatal, Sat Tal is a cluster of seven freshwater lakes each connected together and surrounded by thick forests and pine trees. Naukuchiatal is indeed a very calm place to be.
