Raman Science Centre and Raman Planetarium Complex, affiliated with Mumbai’s Nehru Science Centre, is located at Nagpur and is an interactive science centre. The Centre was inaugurated on 7th March, 1992 and was named after the Nobel Prize winner Indian physicist Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman. The centre is visited by a large number of tourists as well as the local people as it helps them to gain a lot of knowledge about science. There are a lot of activities that the centre engages in to spread science and technology knowledge among the public.
