#2 of 6 things to do in Nagarhole

A little close to the Kerala Border, around 7 km from Nagarhole, Kutta is a residential community in Karnataka. Although not having many touristy places to visit it is surrounded by rivers, mountains and waterfalls that add to the beauty of the place. Having a few options for home stays, Kutta is known for serving as a gateway to the Nagarhole National Park, mainly for those coming from the Kerala side. Shortly after one crosses Kerala, in the Kutta town, there lies a wildlife sanctuary called Tholpetty. Other than that one can visit Iruppu Falls which is a short drive into the jungle and there is another beautiful place called Kabini backwaters to visit around Kutta. Fortunate with nature's abundance beauty and tranquillity, Kutta is an ideal weekend destination.
