Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum

#2 of 6 things to do in Ludhiana

Maharaja Ranjit Singh War Museum was set up in the year 1999 by the Punjab Government as a tribute to chivalrous fighters. It is situated on GT Road and is around 6.7 km far from Ludhiana Railway Station. The prime fascination of the exhibition hall is the lofty statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh sitting gladly on a position of royalty in the passageway of the gallery. The exhibition hall has 12 unique displays, including Ancient History Gallery, Post-Independence History Gallery, War Hero's Gallery, Air Force and Navy Gallery, and many more. Each night a light and sound show is sorted out in the grass outside the structure, portraying an account of war saints and their job in the war. You can visit this patriotic historical centre from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm from Tuesday to Sunday. The entry fees are Rs 20 for adults.
