Tikona, also known as Vitandgad, is one of the many forts in the state of Maharashtra. It is located at a distance of around 60 km from Pune and the nearest village to the fort is Tikona-Peth. The fort is located near Pawna reservoir. The fort is in ruins in the current era and is owned by the Government of India. The height of the fort is 3580 feet. It consists of large doors, temple of Trimbakeshwar Mahadev, 7 water tanks and some Satvahan caves. It is also important for the trekkers.
