Matri Dei Cathedral, popularly known as  Mother of God Cathedral or Devamatha Cathedral is one of the oldest churches of Malabar. Located near beach, this church dates back to 1513 C.E is built in Roman style of Architecture. The church also houses a 2 century old Portrait of St. Mary. You can attend the Holy mass everyday at 6.30am and on Sunday's at 7.00am(English) , 9.15am(Malayalam), 5.00pm(Malayalam).
