#1 of 3 things to do in Konark

A paradise with refreshing memories of the bygone times, this place must not go unchecked from the bucket list of any history lover visiting the Konark city. It is located an eyeshot away from the Sun Temple, however, it was originally placed somewhere else, the shift took place in 1968. One can mesmerize and drift away in the wave of antiquity while witnessing the spine-tingling antiques and artwork that the entire museum has. The museum is divided into 4 galleries that manifest almost 260 antiquities recuperated from the Sun temple’s excavation. It also features an extensive reserve collection. This museum adequately portrays the picture of the antiquated monuments and archaeological sites of Orissa which profoundly attracts the focus of the visitors on the evolution and flowering of the Orissa’s architectural design. The beautifully crafted and designed pieces of work will leave anyone paradisaically blown away.
