Parvati River

#0 of 5 things to do in Kasol

Carved into the Parvati valley in Kasol, the Parvati river rises from the Man Talai Glacier below the Pin Parbati pass and flows in a gradual curve into the Beas River at Bhuntar, 10 km south of Kullu. The river valley has been a route to various places: Lahul across the Sara Umga La pass, Spiti across the famous Pin Parbati pass, and Debsa Pass. The river is surrounded by snow-clad mountains on both sides with dense pine forests is a mesmerizing view for the eyes. The riverside is the ideal place for relaxing and soaking in nature’s beauty. If you are in for some adventure, you can also engage in nerve-wrecking activities like river rafting.
