Kheerganga is known to be the trekker's paradise is located near to the town of Kasol. With the magnificent snow-clad mountains layered with the beautiful verdant array of trees lines with snow and the gushing of the crystal blue Parvati river along the valley, the trek to Kheerganga is one of its kind experience. Kheerganga Trek is so popular is its almost year-round accessibility. Apart from few weeks of peak winter season, Kheerganga is accessible most of the year. The trek to Kheerganga is no piece of cake and it requires proper planning prior to the trek. After reaching Barshanini the base to Rudra Nag, Kalga and Pulga from Bhuntar, you can opt for any of the two routes wisely according to you:

·   Rudra Nag (13 km): It’s a steep climb, laced with stunning views; perfect for photography
·   Kalga (17 km): Easy climb with longer descends, suited for occasional trekkers and those low on stamina. Not a good option for photographers.

Once on top, Kheerganga welcomes you with breathtakingly beautiful views of Parvati valley. Kheerganga is not a village but you can find makeshift stays and camps here. At Kheerganga there are many cafes and tea-houses. You can also find a hot water spring called the Parvati Kund in Kheerganga.
