Famous for its beautiful and adventurous trekking trails, Kasol is a paradise for trekkers. These trekking trials include the Kheerganga, Yanker Pass, Sar Pass and Pin Parbati Pass. To enjoy and understand the culture of this region, you can visit the exotic village of Malana located a few kilometres from Kasol. The village with its scenic beauty is often referred to as the ‘Little Greece’. Kasol also has a flea market that sells a variety of items like trinkets, souvenirs, pendants, and even semi-precious stones. Other major attractions of Kasol include Tosh, the Parvati River, Pin Parvati Pass attracting a number of tourists from all over to Kasol.

How to reach

Kasol is well connected to the rest of India only by well-connected roadways. There is no direct rail or airways to Kasol.

How to Reach by Flight

Bhuntar Airport located at 31 kms near to Kullu is the nearest airport to the village. It is connected to three cities Delhi, Pathankot and Shimla.

How to Reach by Train

Pathankot serves as the nearest railhead at a distance of almost 150 Km, Himsagar Express, Andaman Express, Ten Jammu Express, and Sarvodaya Express are few of the trains which connect Kasol with neighbouring cities.

How to Reach by Bus

The HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) runs regular buses from neighbouring states of Delhi, Haryana and Punjab.

How to Reach by Road

This is considered to be one of the adventurous drives you can set on with. Though the 526 kms drive from Delhi is difficult, the scenarios the path offers is worth all the hassle.

Kasol Itinerary

Day 1
Start early from Delhi to Kasol, the journey would take around 12 hours. After you settle in, in the evening, you can go to the main market for a stroll around the market and rest for the day.

Day 2
After the breakfast head towards sightseeing at the Manikaran Gurudwara. Then you can proceed to trek at Kheer Ganga. If you are planning to camp, take all the necessary amenities with you.

Day 3
After the early morning breakfast, you can head out to explore the villages of Tosh and Malana. After lunch, you can spend time relaxing along the valleys of Parvati River. Spend the night at Kasol enjoying the nightlife and you can head back to Delhi the next day.
