#0 of 1 things to do in Karnaprayag

Nandprayag is the confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Nandakini. It is one of the five confluence the river Alaknanda has. Nandprayag is known to be the then capital of the Yaduvansh. It is supremely spiritual and resonates peace throughout the town. It has the famous Nanda temple built by the Yaduvanshis.

Sitting in the lap of mighty Himalayas, it is just seamlessly beautiful, with lush green mountains and two beautiful, gushing rivers in its vicinity.

Alaknanda emerges from Satopanth near Badrinath Dham and the source of river Nandakini is the foot of the Nanda Devi Peak. A lot of wise men consider taking a bath here to wash off their sins!
