Kalpetta is a humble town but the district of Wayanad is quite big. Planning a trip to Kalpetta is a robust task to do. If you are on a short trip you could cover a few places but the actual points to visit are located nearby the two. Therefore at least 3 days are needed.
DAY 1: You could start your trip by a trek to Chembra peak and follow your day by the nearby points inclusive of Soochippara Falls (Sentinel Rock Waterfall) and Ananthanatha Swamy Jain Temple.
DAY 2: Keep your second day about all the important visits which could include nearby lakes, museums and most importantly the spice garden. Have a look at the plantations in Kalpetta giving your day a rejuvenating take.
Day 3: Last day is all about exploring the place. This could involve the shopping time, temples which could not be visited yesterday and some of the famous eatery joints of the town. Go downtown and relish the authentic flavours of South India.
