Birla Temple

#9 of 18 things to do in Jaipur

The Birla Temple is a soothing sight for eyes, made entirely out of clear and clean white marbles, it is very very pristine. It is one of the several highly-regarded Birla temples around the country. Located on the foothills of the Moti-Dungri temple, it is generally the first spot tourists visit, take the blessings from Lord Narayana and Goddess Laxmi and continue their journey. It looks extremely soulful, especially during night time.

It is maintained very graciously by the Birla Group, and has a beautiful campus. Some peacocks can also be spotted in the vicinity, especially during the monsoons, and they add up to the already beautiful Birla Temple. There is also an idol of Lord Ganesh and all the three idols of the deities are made out of single pieces of marble respectively. The insides of the temple are carved with ancient stories and facts. It has some very intricate craftsmanship on display.

There is a sense of peace and relaxation just as soon as one enters the temple. It has a very calming effect on all the individuals present there!

There are no entry fees.
