The wildlife sanctuary is also known as Hastinapur National Park. The sanctuary is spread over 2073 square kilometres wide. The sanctuary is quite rich in its biosphere. Various rare species of herbs, shrubs, mammals, reptiles, and birds can be seen here. The sanctuary is famous for having the largest number of peacocks residing in it. The sanctuary is situated on the outskirts of Hastinapur. It is spread over multiple cities such as Meerut, Ghaziabad, Bijnore, etc.
