Situated in North Goa, near Chapora fort and also 3 km north of Anjuna Vagator is one among the most beautiful beaches that one can find in northern Goa. Popularly divided into two parts, Vagator consists of Little Vagator Beach and Big Vagator, palm-lined beaches with soft sand you can sink your feet in. This beach has been a 'go-to' beach for the international tourists for several years and is now beginning to grow in popularity with Indian tourists as well.It also offers a very beautiful sunset view. There are some adventure activities at Vagator such as speed boat & water scooters. The restaurants and beach cafes serve some tasty seafood and drinks. At the Wednesday Flea Market one can shop for local handicrafts like earthen pot and cane baskets and clothes as well. Vagator Beach is a favourite venue for mid night parties. Disco Valley, which is located on one end of Vagator Beach provides a good ‘trance’ dance floor along with plenty other clubs such as Hill Top (known for its rave parties), Nine Bar, and Primrose. This beach is a secret paradise for beach lovers.
