Ganesh Gully

#3 of 15 things to do in Diveagar

The Ganesh Gully is a little culvert – a tight channel – arranged between two mountains. Ganesh Gully is situated between two Rocky Mountains in the town of Harihareshwar and is around 3 ft wide. It is trusted that this blessed holy niche is located around 30 ft beneath the water and contains the idol of Lord Shiva. It is believed that an idol of Lord Ganesha is clearly noticeable on the niche amid the tidal periods. This site makes for an ideal spot to loosen up and absorb the relieving twists against the grand background of nature. Encompassed by regular excellence, this spot is visited by numerous devotees to offer prayers to the idol of Lord Shiva and Ganesha.
