Gyuto Monastery was established for the promotion and preservation of the Tantric teachings of Tsongkhapa. It is a religious community in Tibet. It was established in 1474 by the pupil of Dalai Lama. The monks practice the major tantric texts like Guhyasamaja, Chakrasamvara and Yamantaka. It has a statue of Buddha with snow-capped mountain at the backdrop.
