The Ambe Temple is the pride and glory of Danta- Ambaji. It is one of the major attractions of the village. The Ambe Temple is one of the fifty-one "Shaktipeeth" temples worshipping the goddess Amba, fondly known as "Amba Mata" (Mother Amba) by worshippers.It is claimed by history that this temple has been worshipped in since Pre-Vedic times. It is believed by the followers that the heart of Sati Devi had fallen at the very spot where the temple is today.

Inside the temple, there is no idol, there is a simple Gokh in the inner wall that bears the Shakti Visa Sri Yantra. It is convex in shape an consists of 51 holy Bij letters engraved on it. The residetial priests have painteda picture of the goddess on the ceiling of the temple. The devotees who visit the Ambe temple have to mandatorily tie a white cloth on their eyes before worshipping the Yantra. According to history, the temple as well as Yantra have a very strong and defined Tantric past.
