Cathedral of Bom Jesus

#2 of 8 things to do in Daman

An architecture that shows the exquisite work of Portuguese craftsmen, a must visit for those in Daman. The church dates back to 1603 and is well maintained with a beautiful interior that leaves you awestruck. As we enter through the beautifully carved door, the Roman Catholic tradition can be found with the wooden altar, the sculpted pulpit, the six statues, and the remaining works of the artisans.
