The Chamunda Devi Temple is an auspicious and serene temple with the goddess Kali, or Chamunda Devi as she is known here, is the deity. There is also a cave where a Shiv Linga has been placed for devotees to worship Lord Shiva, which they do so with great devotion. Initially built in a remote location, The Chamunda Temple was rebuilt at the current location to gain more access. Signifying the location where Maa Kaali destroyed the demons Shumbh and Nisumbh, this temple is revered with great devotion. The beautifully ornate temple has a pond with depictions of the Gods surrounding it and is open to the public for those who want to take a dip. The temple is located at Kangra, near Dalhousie.
