Chandan Nagar Museum is the oldest museum in the region of West Bengal. It is a reflection of the history that  Chandan Nagar holds. It mostly comprises of Old French Antiques such as wooden furniture dated back to the 18th century or the cannons used in the Anglo-French war. There are artefacts that are very rarely present in this world. This Institute still holds regular French classes for people who are interested. The architecture of this museum is inspired by the French way of living and thus reflects the colonial era of France here in Chandan Nagar. Jogendar Nath Sen was one resident of Chandan Nagar who dies in France in World War I and his belongings were sent to his brother in India. The belongings were later donated to the museum.
