The founder of Pashupata Shaivism, Lakulisa constructed this temple. It was dated back to the 10th century and has been a prominent location of tourism here. Pushpata Shaivism is one of the oldest Shaivite schools. It is located on top of the beautiful hills of Pavagadh. The sculptures of various dieties including Dakshinamurthy Shiva, Ganesha and Gajantaka Shiva. The temple is mostly in ruins now and the intricacies are very delicately visible. Most of the temple has been demolished due to the age of the temple but it is still very prominent as a tourist spot. The architecture is significantly influenced by the Hindu architecture.
