Fort of Pavagadh and the ruined Hindu and Jain Temples

#4 of 8 things to do in Champaner-pavagadh

This is a fort that sits atop of the Pavagadh hills and is the biggest highlight of the Pavagadh hills. The fortification starts in the Mauliya plateau, situated on the hills and ends on the plains. This fort is a gateway to many religious idols and sculptures inside the fortress. There are many other temples here influenced by the Hindus and Jains. The architecture of these temples is observed to be under the same influence. The surroundings of Pavagadh hills are green and very breezy that makes it a beautiful getaway.
