Bhimtal has been pitstop for people travelling from hills to plains or vice versa for a long time. Apart from the Bhimtal Lake, the Bhimeshwar Mahadev Temple, Victoria Dam, Hidimba Parvat, Vankhandi Ashram, Nal Damyanti Tal and Sayad Baba Ki Mazar.

Day1:
Start from Nainital in the morning and reach Bhimtal. Visit Hanuman Garhi in the morning and then proceed to Kainchi Ashram. After a late lunch, head to the Bhimtal lake, the aquarium, Victoria Dam, Bhimeshwara Mahadev Temple and spend the evening there. You can spent the night in Bhimtal or head back to Nainital.
Day2:
After an early breakfast, you can trek up to Karkotaka Temple, enjoy the sunrise and the morning views and head back to Nainital after brunch.
