Located at Bharatpur in Rajasthan, the Lohagarh Fort is an architecture marvel one of the most visited tourist attractions in the city of Bharatpur. Constructed by the Bharatpur Jat rulers, the monument was one of its kind. Protected by deep moats on all sides, originally built in the 1730s, most of the fort today is occupied by government offices and a museum. The fort is simply put modest and functional with simple carvings on the walls and pillars. The fort has 3 palaces inside - Mahal Khas, Kamra Palace and the Palace of Badan Singh. Between the museum and the main entrance, known as the Ashtadhatu Gate, is the Nehru Park. You can sit in and enjoy the breeze in the park. Palaces.
