Encompassed by waterways on three sides and arranged in the midst of the Himalayan extents, Pakhui Wildlife Sanctuary is a treat to your eyes. Located in the East Kameng District, Pakke Tiger Reserve is a piece of Pakhui or Pakke Wildlife Sanctuary. The natural life hold is a perfect spot for survey and photographing four types of hornbills alongside various wild animals and numerous bird species. The reserve has turned into an asylum for more than 2000 types of plants, 300 types of birds, 40 types of mammals, 30 types of amphibians and 36 types of reptiles. There are numerous types of the rare flora and fauna existing in PTR that are comprehensively threatened and two of them incorporates Hornbill and White Winged Wood Duck. The territory types in the recreation center incorporate are swamp semi-evergreen, evergreen forest, and Eastern Himalayan broadleaf forests.
