At a separation of 1 Km from Badami Bus Station, the Agastya Lake is an immense lake situated underneath the cavern temples. Developed in the fifth century, the lake is viewed as blessed because of the recuperating forces of its water. The eastern banks of the Agasthya Lake are spotted with Bhoothanatha sanctuaries while the caverns sanctuaries are situated on South West part and the post on North West end. As indicated by Puranas, The Pushkarini was a delight tank of God in Vaikunta and is dearest of Lakshmidevi and Bhoodevi.
