WHEN TO VISIT…?
Alappuzha is an all-time destination, but there are high and low points for each season. Winter starting from November to February is the best time to enjoy the mild cool weather free from strong rains or hash sun. The famous Nehru trophy boat race is held when the monsoon is at its peak; from June to September, an event that brings together thousands of fans on the banks of the Vembanad Lake to witness this exciting and unique race. Summer starts from March and extends to may. This time of the year is least preferred due to the high temperature and humidity.
