Tucked away gracefully into the Konkan regions of Maharashtra, the small coastal town of Alibag is one of the most popular getaway destinations near to Mumbai. Located 120 kms to the South of Mumbai, Alibag and its surrounding villages are strongly rooted in their colonial history. Not too far from each other, with spectacular views of the sunsets, a walk along the beach enjoying the setting sun, engaging with the slow breeze, embracing the beauty all around you, Alibag is an excellent spot to relax and reboot. Alibag is home to Mandwa Beach, famously known for the innumerable number of movie shootings. With stunning views of the Gateway of India from its bay, Alibag is an excellent spot for every art and nature enthusiasts. Homestays are preferred more by the tourists. There are many hotels and cottages along the beach.
Seafood is served at most of the restaurants. There are few restaurants which serve South Indian and continental food.
Day 1: Arrive by afternoon and relax till evening. Visit Alibag beach and Nagaon beach
Day 2: Visit Kolaba Fort and Kihim Beach.
