Aizawl is the capital city of the state Mizoram in North East India. It is the home place of the native hill tribe ethnic Mizo People. Day 1: Getting a flight from Kolkata or Guwahati, we reach Aizawl in the space of 2 hrs., cabs are easily hired out of the airport and we reach Aizawl in 1 hr. Getting there and quickly finishing the formalities of checking in the hotel we can have our lunch in the local restaurants and enjoy the cuisine of our choice. After lunch, we can visit the Salvation Army temple and take a small drive to K V Paradise to enjoy the sunset and the view. A quick dinner and early night in the hills is always a luxury we shouldn’t miss.
Day2: After breakfast, we can hire a cab to go to Reik and Tam Lake to see the natural landscape and beauty, Aizawl provides. While driving back we can visit Dampa Tiger Reserve and see the wildlife in their natural habitat. The evening can be spent exploring and shopping beautiful handcraft artifacts from the tribes of Mizoram.
Day3: We can Start our journey by visiting Solomon’s Temple and eat lunch in the restaurant serving the local cuisines of the hill tribes for a memorable experience. A drive back to Airport in an hour will give us plenty of time to catch our flight in the schedule.
