Roop Kund Trek

This the only haunted place which makes to this list. The Roop Kund lake, which is also known as the Skeleton Lake is believed to house the skeletons of hundreds of people. The skeletons are only visible during a one month period when the ice melts and the bottom of the lake can be seen. Apart from this unsettling fact, rest everything in and around this lake is picturesque. This trek usually starts from Rishikesh with halts at Bedni Bugyal and Bagubassa. Bramhatal Lake trek

Trek to Bramhatal Lake is done mostly in the months of December to March. It usually starts from Rishikesh with stops at Betal Tal and Lohajung. A major part of the trek is through forests, making it beginner-friendly. It has a lot of beautiful sites and sights to offer! Ranging from deep and shadowy forests of oaks and rhododendrons to snow-covered meadows, lakeside campings at both Betal Tal and Bramhatal, it makes it once in a lifetime kind of trips.
